The Banquet is a eclectic celebration of African not only Nigerian food . From The crowd pleaser "Jollof rice , Dodo , Egusi, Ewa Ibeji, Panla /Okporopo Soup, Fried rice , Puff puff , Pounded yam , Goat Meat in sauce , Eba , Roasted chicken , Moin Moin, Roasted Hen to food more specialized to others African Countries. Ranging from Morocco to South Africa and Mauritius . From Sengal to Ethiopia and Eritiea.

The ball will follow food and prize presentation.  The dress code is dress to impress in either traditional or Western wear (but bring a spare pair of comfortable dance shoes ). 
 

The event will begin at 5PM promptly on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the SUWANEE PEDIATRICS BALLROOM.

The last event of the evening following awards, presentations, and competitions will be the dance party.  Our DJ's will provide a dazzling blend of fabulous African dance music and current Western hits. 

The full ceremony is as follows:

  • 5pm - Make up artist and photographer suite opens ($15 package - not included in general admission ticket price)

  • 5pm to 6pm - The submission and evaluation of Georgia school reports of high school students showing their most current GPA available are submitted for entry into the the $1000 "B.A.D Scholar Award " (The Bi-cultural And Dominating Scholar) First Place cash award and $500 for next four Runner ups.

  • 7pm - Opening Ceremony and banquet starts.

  • 8pm - Awards are announced and presented. Dining continues.

  • 9pm - Entertainment, Games and Events commence.

  • 10 pm till 12 pm - Dance to Live DJ music.

  • 10 pm - lottery tickets for Annual Monetary Scholarships sold. Available and open to all Bicultural Students of Africans in Diaspora age 11 years through 21 years .
